Day 2

Sadly, Colleen was absent today. But, as they say, the fashion show must go on!

Surprise, surprise...for Day 2 I chose another turtleneck. Big shocker, I know. It's just that it's so cold out, and they're so warm. I went with all black today - sweater, skirt, tights, boots. But, I couldn't resist brightening it up times a MILLON with this bright yellow scarf I bought last weekend at Target. It was a purchase with thoughts of the future and spring, but I felt like it would serve me well today (even if it was just my mood).

Check it out!

Day 1

And we're off!!!!

It's tough to pull of even the best look under such grotesque florescent lighting, especially the day after transatlantic flight, but Colleen's looking very fashionable in a red dress after her whirlwind trip Milan. It may be winter, but no sleeves necessary.

I'm going with a more traditional winter look, a royal blue Ann Taylor turtleneck and an old standby gray skirt from Spain. Turtlenecks are pretty much my favorite thing in winter - so warm.

Not pictured are the black nylons and black heels for both. You can just never go wrong.

Let the fashion challenge begin

Contrary to popular belief, English teachers can be fashionable - like, really fashionable. To prove this, my dear friend and fellow teacher (Colleen) and I (Eileen) have started this fabulous blog to document our efforts at bringing a little runway at our school (NESE).

The protagonists: 2 twenty-something girls
The mission: 38 completely different outfits
The time: 19 cold winter days
